Our Supply Chain
ScotWind represents a major investment in Scotland’s green energy future. The Muir Mhòr project is committed to a collaborative, transparent and innovative approach towards the development of a world-class Scottish supply chain, and cultivating future industry leaders.
Supply Chain
We are committed to working closely with the supply chain – exploring local opportunities and actively investigating what is feasible in Scotland. Our collaborative approach to supply chain development ensures that we detail how to qualify for procurement opportunities at all levels of the supply chain well in advance, provide feedback on development plans, work with others to realise opportunities and deliver value through the supply chain where possible.

Over £3.87 million has already been awarded to Scottish suppliers in development contracts, with a further £12.82 million under procurement. Read more >

Major supply chain procurement includes the appointment and recent completion of the Offshore Preliminary Geophysical & Environmental Surveys.

In active discussions with local port facilities around Scotland.

Glasgow-based GoBe Consultants retained to provide support in delivering the Environmental Impact Assessment for our development.

We are collaborating with service providers and actively developing work packages - we have MoUs in place with Green Marine and Leask Marine in Orkney to explore opportunities.

“Muir Mhòr has conducted the earliest & best supply chain engagement to date”

As active members of SOWEC’s Collaborative Framework Working Group, we are working jointly with other developers to create supply chain opportunities.
